I was thinking the other day how much changes we go through in our lives. My thoughts started with the changes our tastes go though (for example I hated peas when I was little and now I like them) and then I found this question:
When you think of your life ten years from today, what’s different?
The more I thought about it, the more I realize how much I have changed…granted I was 15 at the time so there’s a huge difference between high school and being an adult (notice how I didn’t say ‘grown up’…I don’t think I’ll ever be a grown up!). Looking back you realize how insignificant high school actually is, even though while you’re living through it you think it’s the most important moment of your life.I am comfortable and content with myself and my beliefs, which I think comes with age. I amhealthier than I have ever been in my life (having lost almost 40 lbs 5 years ago-yes 40!) having changed my diet to reflect my thoughts and beliefs (more about that at a different time so get ready!).
I’ve changed my thoughts to be more positive and understanding which has helped me become a happier person (that and 5 years ago finding the man that would become my husband).
My life is far from perfect-it never will be and I don’t think I want it to be but I want to make sure I never stop changing.
